Easter Services 2007. April 1st at 9.00 am Palm Sunday: Distribution of palm crosses.
April 5th at 7.30 pm. Maundy Thursday: Service of preparation and stripping of the Sanctuary for Good Friday.
April 6th at 8.30 am. Good Friday. Procession of the Cross with Stations, from Mangere Bridge Village to the church. Meet at the Hammer Hardware at 8.30 am then process up to the church for the Good Friday service, women at the Cross at 9.00 am. Be early for this one. At 9.30 am some will leave the church to join the procession up Mangere Mountain for the re-enactment of the crucifixion.
April 7th Easter Eve Service (Midnight) Service begins at 11.30 pm with service of light. April 8th Easter Day at 9.00 am Celebration of Joy.

St James 150th Anniversary: Now 1859-2009
This was to have been held in July 2007. However due to new documentation found by some of the many people who were seeking information on St James, a new starting year has been confirmed as being 1859. Accordingly the celebrations have been put off till July 2009. Thanks to all those who contributed to the research.
